Memorial for the Humboldt Broncos

On Friday April 6th, the hockey world suffered a tragic loss, when 15 members of the Humboldt Broncos family lost their lives in a tragic accident.

A memorial is being organized in the Blackfalds Multiplex on Friday April 13th from 6.30pm to 8pm to show our support to those whom have grown their wings and to those left behind.

All Blackfalds organizations are invited to attend with their teams and groups together in their jerseys, club colours, group uniform, whatever that looks like, in a show of solidarity of the hockey world as well as other teams, clubs, troupes and community organizations.

This is a community coming together to show our support to all those whom are touched by this tragic event and to be there for those in our community whom may have been affected by this in one way or another.

We will be preceding a minute silence at 7.15pm with some words from the President of our Hockey Association and we invite those from other organisations to say a few words also.  I just ask that you let me know as soon as possible if you wish to speak, so as we know how much time we will need for speaking.

Please share this with anyone you feel would like to attend.

Please don't hesitate to contact Louise Rellis 403 318-7690 with any questions.
