Welcome Adrienne Strangways to Grade Two

We are excited to welcome Adrienne Strangways. She is overjoyed to be joining IREC in September, teaching second grade!  Adrienne was born and raised in Kitchener, Ontario and moved to Antigonish, Nova Scotia for four years to complete my undergraduate degree. There, she attended St. Francis Xavier University and earned my Bachelor of Arts majoring in Psychology.

When we asked Adrienne to tell us a little about herself, this is what she had to say "I knew that my dream career was in the field of education, so after my undergrad I moved to downtown Toronto, where I received my Masters in Teaching from the University of Toronto. I also hold a certificate in American Sign Language, and am a certified BATD dance teacher! Dance has always been a huge passion of mine alongside baking tasty treats, trying out recipes from Pinterest, reading whatever book lands in my lap and going on adventures with my partner, Kevin. I can’t wait to join the amazing learning community here in Blackfalds, and look forward to meeting the Grade Two students in September!"
