Welcome Kara Ricker to Bright Futures Play Academy

Dear Parents,

It’s hard to believe the school year has gone by so quickly and we are already into June.

We are very excited to inform families that our program at Iron Ridge Elementary Campus is growing! Due to high enrollment this spring, the Wolf Creek Board of Trustees approved the expansion of three additional Bright Futures Play Academy programs at IREC, and these classes are filling quickly.

We are very pleased to inform families that Kara Ricker has been hired to teach the additional Bright Futures pre-K programs at IREC starting in the fall. Many of you will know Kara as one of the IREC Kindergarten staff at the school throughout the 2016-17 school year, and we are thrilled that she will be joining the Bright Futures Play Academy team for the 2017-18 school year. Kara is passionate about early years programming and understands the importance of quality early learning experiences for our youngest learners. She has worked closely with our current BFPA teacher, Meaghan Pohozoff, throughout the year and they are already working and planning together in anticipation of the next school year.

Both Kara and Meaghan will be contacting families in early September to set up an orientation time for children who are registered in the Bright Futures Play Academy program for the fall. They look forward to welcoming you and your child at that time.

If you have questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to me. I can be reached at: 403-783-3473.

Have a wonderful summer and we’ll see you in September.

Sincerely,

Kacey Oehlerking

Coordinator of Early Years Programs
